Mission Statement
The mission of the Piedmont East Bay Children's Choir is to provide children, actively recruited from throughout the East Bay, with a dynamic education in choral music that emphasizes ensemble performance, vocal technique and music theory, in conjunction with the creative exploration of new music. Through their participation, the children build skills, confidence and character, emerging as confident, accomplished young adults.
Description
The Piedmont East Bay Children's Choir (formerly The Piedmont Choirs) consists of 324 children, ages 5-18, in 12 choirs drawn from 76 schools in 17 cities. The Choir performs more than 50 concerts a year, tours, commissions new choral works, and hosts an international children's choral festival. We have sung with top professional groups, won prizes at global choral competitions, and earned a reputation as one of the finest children's choirs anywhere.
