Here's a sample of our volunteer opportunities:VIEW AS
All children in Wyoming live and learn in safe and nurturing environments that prepare them for success in school and life.
Wyoming Kids First is an early childhood initiative that focuses on developing a comprehensive and collaborative early childhood system of quality-based early care and education, integrated family support services and accessible and affordable health care.
The most important piece of our work is the development of Regional Partnerships throughout the state. These partnerships can be existing early childhood-oriented organizations or new organizations that decide they want to bring people together to take on this work. Their board must be inclusive with key early childhood organizations, agency representatives, city and county administrators, child care providers, parents and educators coming together. They will need to employ at least one staff person and their initial work will include conducting a community assessment or compiling existing current assessments to identify gaps in services in the priority areas of early care and education, physical, mental and emotional health and family support. These partnerships will be funded through a competitive grant application process.
