Mission Statement
The urgent mission of the Foundation Fighting Blindness, Inc. is to drive the research that will provide preventions, treatments and cures for people affected by retinitis pigmentosa (RP), macular degeneration, Usher syndrome, and the entire spectrum of retinal degenerative diseases.
Description
Since 2006, VisionWalk has raised over $7 million to support the mission of the Foundation Fighting Blindness. Over 34 walks are planned for 2008, including the Third Nashville VisionWalk on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at Bicentennial Mall Park in Nashville.

Volunteer Needs- We need your help! Behind every event is great volunteers!! Volunteer opportunities range from set-up to registration to helping at the food table to clean-up.
We ask all our volunteers to show up between 7:00 A.M. and 7:30 A.M. for a quick training and job distribution.
Registration: 9:00 A.M.
Walk Start: 10:00 A.M.
