Love My Neighbor Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit. We feed the homeless of downtown Los Angeles every Thursday. LMNF was est. Dec. 2014. We plan on expanding the charity and helping in other areas. We are looking for a volunteer that is reliable, dedicated, has a passion for helping others and that wants to be a part of a team. Someone that is able to volunteer every Thursday of every month - if you miss a few, that's understandable. This position will gather all new volunteers' information to store in our database. They will also help coordinate volunteers for other volunteering opportunities outside of Thursdays and coordinate group volunteers. This is a very simple role, but very detailed. This person definitely has to be friendly, organized and detailed.

Thank you for taking an interest in Love My Neighbor Foundation. For this role, you have to be available on Thursdays from 12p-2:30p, which is the one day that we physically volunteer. Love My Neighbor Foundation feeds and clothes the homeless every Thursday for since 2015. We are looking for an Operations Associate to help us run things on Thursdays, but also every aspect of the charity. This person will be working closely with the Operations Manager, who oversees week-to-week operations with the charity. This role will make sure that everything on Thursdays runs smoothly as well as our other events. We have other events throughout the year, such as a toy drive/giveaway, backpack drive/giveaway, helping people in the shelters prepare for the workforce, and other events. We would like this person to be passionate about helping others. Also, we would like someone that is organized, a "go-getter" and who is "people-friendly". We are looking for someone that would like to join our LMNF family and be with us for the long run to help us grow and expand. This position is not for community service hours. We are looking for passionate people to join our team.

We are looking for someone that is a leader. Someone that is dedicated, passionate, someone that can communicate well with others, and someone that is okay with having a little authority. This person will need to be available on Thursdays from 12p-3p to volunteer in person and possibly other scheduled events that we have. This role is simple but very important. This person will communicate with the new and regular volunteers on protocols, their assignments, and that will be able to be the first contact with the volunteers on-sight. Love My Neighbor Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in December 2014. We serve the homeless community of Los Angeles every Thursday from 12-2:30 pm on Skidrow. Love My Neighbor Foundation plans to expand its outreach and is looking for more passionate individuals to join our team! Love My Neighbor Foundation has a great opportunity for an administrative assistant to act as a liaison between the founder/CEO and everyone else. Additionally, this person will serve as the main contact for interested volunteers. Must be available Thursdays from 12-2:30 pm to help Love My Neighbor Foundation feed the homeless community of Los Angeles. This is important for several reasons. We would like someone working with us on the ground to fully understand/experience the work we do. Additionally, we need someone on-site to collect information from new volunteers to later input into spreadsheets. We are looking for someone long-term that wants to be a part of our team. Reliable Committed Team-oriented Patient Organized Strong interpersonal skills Long term commitment Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): The primary job of answering/forwarding emails EVERY DAY We do not receive a lot of emails but if you are not available to handle emails every day, this is not the position for you. Collect volunteers' information Send emails to volunteers for events Send out donation receipts Keep track of all donations and expense receipts Make posts on social media Make basic flyers for events Create and send out quarterly/monthly newsletters Schedule meetings and/or meetings for appropriate members Help coordinate events Assisting CEO, Executive Assistant, and/or Operation Manager Requirements: Must have experience in email, Excel, Word, Social media is a plus Must speak and write English very well Spanish is a plus Lastly, we are looking for a volunteer who wants to be a part of our crew in the long run. Thank you for your interest in Love My Neighbor Foundation. Love My Neighbor Foundation feeds and clothes the homeless every Thursday since 2015. We are growing and would like to roll out new projects and different ways to give back. Even though it says one location, that's the location that we currently volunteer on Thursdays, but we will be looking for other locations to build. We do prefer someone that is able to volunteer with us on Thursdays from 12p - 2:30p serving the unhoused in Skid Row, but not required. We need someone to work closely with the Project Coordinator and/or the Founder of this nonprofit to help design programs that align with the organization's goals. We need someone to help establish fundraising, identify potential donors or sources of funding, and help plan outreach strategies. This nonprofit is all volunteer-based. So, we would like someone that somewhat already has an established, flexible schedule and would like to be with us in the long run. This person doesn't necessarily need to have experience in this position, but we would like someone that has a take-charge disposition, ability to multitask, and a get-things-done attitude. Someone that is organized, a team player, and follows directions well.
