Mission Statement

Kitties In-need-of Someone Special (K.I.S.S.) is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to finding homes for cats and kittens. We pride ourselves on the care we take to ensure that our cats are healthy, clean and socialized. Our cats come from our local pound, and from other high-kill shelters. We do not accept owner turn-ins, but would rather help educate people to help them resolve any problems with their cats so they do not have to surrender them.

K. I. S. S. Inc. is a registered non-profit charitable organization in the state of NJ and a 501(c) (3) Federal Tax Exempt Organization. WE HAVE A VARIETY OF CATS/ KITTENS JUST WAITING TO BE SOMEONE SPECIAL'S KITTY!

K.I.S.S. is not a shelter, but strictly a small foster program that can handle a limited number of cats.

We do not accept owner surrenders.

Most of our cats come from our local animal control facility. When we have extra room, we accept cats who may be in danger of being euthanized at other facilities.

The animals are clean and obviously well-cared for. The cats are tested for feline Aids, leukemia, vaccinated, etc. It's all in the paperwork that goes with with any adopted cats!
