Description

Montgomery County Youth Services is an umbrella agency for three distinct programs:

YOUTH AND FAMILY SERVICES: Provides counseling and support services for troubled youth and their families. MCYS works with youth to age 17. One element of this program is our FACE to FACE Mentoring program serving children who have a close relative or significant adult in prison. Children are paired with community volunteers who provide friendship, and participate in a variety of fun, athletic, cultural and creative activities.

RESIDENTIAL SERVICES FAIRWAY HOME: The Residential Services Program assists youth through many projects including Fairway Home, Street Outreach , Basic Center and Bridgeway Youth Shelter. These projects are designed to show at-risk youth that the potential for maintaining a safe and healthy lifestyle is possible.

COMMUNITY EDUCATION AND OUTREACH SERVICES: This program assists and educates youth and their families about the challenges often faced in different stages of adolescence.
