SHADE Foundation of America is dedicated to eradicating melanoma through the education of children and the community in the prevention of skin cancer and the promotion of sun safety.

Description

SHADE Foundation of America was founded by Shonda Schilling, wife of Major League Basebell pitcher Curt Schilling in 2002. Shonda very publically overcame malignant melanoma and established SHADE Foundation after overwhelming responses from others afflicted by skin cancer.
