Mission Statement

The Moorhead Adult Basic Education Consortium is a comprehensive network providing opportunities for adults with educational needs below the high school completion level to master basic academic, communication, problem-solving, and other coping skills needed to become self-sufficient citizens in our society.

Description

Moorhead Adult Basic Education is a consortium of programs providing instruction for adults who have not completed high school and are pursuing a GED diploma, increasing the basic skills level, learning to speak English, or improving the soft skills needed for the workforce. Educational opportunities for adults have been provided in the community for over 25 years. Each year between 400-500 adults are served by one of the projects within the program: General Adult Basic Education, English as a Second Language, Workforce ESL, and Family Literacy.
