To assist homebound individuals 55 and over and their families to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.
This program has many benefits to the community. It fills in service gaps not currently covered within the community. It helps individuals to maintain or regain their independence. It unites congregations of different faiths towards a common goal. This program provides an outlet for volunteers to serve their community and neighbors. We do not charge for any of our services. Services the volunteers offer are friendly visiting in the home or on the phone, door to door transportation, shopping/errand running, minor home repair/yard work, reading and letting writing, respite for caregivers and occasional meal preparation. Volunteers can volunteer any amount of time for any of the services. Volunteers can also service on an occasion or a regular basis.
