Description

Public libraries in California seek to engage the talents, skills and commitment of volunteers to serve the communities' information and literacy needs. Libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions. Skilled volunteers have opportunities to lead projects, work with teams of staff and volunteers, learn new skills, and have fun.

I would absolutely recommend volunteering here because there is nothing like being able to see the response little kids have when they see a character. And to be helping out the public library is just great. Having volunteered a bunch of times at various places, I recommend it.

I said maybe because I haven't any volunteer experience as of yet, I will reserve recommending until I do. However, I frequently check out books at the mission branch and would highly recommend this location.
