This organization was asking for volunteers for a homeless vets dinner in Santa Ana for December 26th at the Santa Ana Civic Center. I volunteered back in November. I went down today to the address given and there was no dinner, no vets waiting for a dinner...NOTHING. I ran into a couple other people (one was a lady named Kim) who were also looking to volunteer for the dinner. We walked for over 3 blocks, checking every building and parking lot and NOTHING. We spent a total of almost 2 hours searching. Other organizations that were down there feeding the homeless were well marked with signage and reps waiting to direct people. We asked a couple of the other organizations about the dinner, and they had never even heard of it. I then emailed Adam Davis (the founder) asking for the address again, telling him our plight. He responded with a vague email about parking. He never answered the question as to where exactly the dinner was located. We all finally gave up, and went home.
