AmeriCorps Economic Opportunity Coaching Program AmeriCorps members serving in the Economic Opportunity Coaching Program provide individualized coaching to Peckham clients and eligible community members from Ingham, Eaton, Clinton and Calhoun counties.
Members coach people with disabilities, refugees, and low-income individuals in the areas of financial literacy, adult education, employability skill development, and tax preparation in an effort to help them achieve and maintain economic stability.
There are 17 AmeriCorps slots available with the Economic Opportunity Coaching Program; 6 full-time, 5 half-time, and 6 quarter-time members. The Economic Opportunity Coaching Program began in 2013 and is funded through the Corporation for National and Community Service.
