Mission Statement

The mission of AVID is to ensure that all students-especially students in the middle not previously succussful in a college curriculum-will (1) succeed in a rigorous curriculum, (2) enter mainstream activities of the school, (3) increase their enrollment in four-year colleges, and (4) become educated and responsible participants and leaders in a democratic society.
