•To provide an efficient, high quality community based system of prehospital/emergency medical care for all individuals who live, work, travel, and shop in the Shaler Area.To provide for the safe non-emergency transportation of the elderly and chronically ill to medical facilities.•To establish, promote, and conduct educational programs that enhance public health and well being.

Description

Shaler Area EMS is provides emergency medical protection to the residents of Shaler Township. We respond to over 2000 calls for help each year any staff at least one ALS unit 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are able to maintain this level of care because of the dedicated work of our volunteers who donate over 9000 hours of their time.
