Mission Statement

Kitty Angels of Connecticut is a private, no-kill shelter for homeless cats and kittens. Our mission is to rescue and place needy felines in good, lifetime homes. After spay/neuter, testing, shots, and a wellness exam, KA adopts out cats/kittens to new families subsequent to an interview process.

Description

Kitty Angels of Connecticut was founded in 1985, and has adopted out over 7000 cats over the years. KA is an all-volunteer organization, registered as a 501(3)c nonprofit. We are located in a rural setting in eastern Connecticut. Our shelter is a cageless facility. Cats are free to wander around the climate-controlled indoor portion of the shelter, and can go outdoors into a protected enclosure for fresh air at any time. We are partnered with several veterinarians in the community.
