CentraState Mission: To enhance the health and well being of our community through the compassionate delivery of quality healthcare. Our volunteers at CentraState are an important part of our community and provide a vital customer service link to our patients and visitors and assist staff in more than 99 different areas. Our Adult Volunteers are a dedicated and loyal group that are an important part of our team here at CentraState! Adults in our volunteer program range from ages 18-99 years old. Volunteering is a great way to stay active, socialize, provide important, useful skills to our community, and have some fun while you are at it.
Volunteers support our patients, residents, guests, and employees in a variety of ways in the main hospital, administrative offices, outpatient and ambulatory services, and our 3 senior facilities. Volunteer positions may include patient/resident satisfaction (customer service), staff interaction, technical/office/clerical assistance, and other supportive duties.
Our Goal: To find a mutually beneficial experience that provides valuable service to our patients, residents, and staff, as well as provides our volunteers with a positive, fulfilling experience. Volunteer assignments vary based on the needs of our departments and staff in order to better serve our patients and residents. We ask for a minimum commitment of 1 day a week for a 4 hour shift.
