Mission Statement

We seek to improve the physical and mental health of children in minority communities and low-income families by funding a culturally-relevant after school health promotion and wellness programs.

Description

We are a 501.c.3 organization dedicated to developing healthy communities by promoting and improving the health and wellness of individuals, children, and families. Our organization seeks opportunities to procure funding through grants, individual and corporate donations, sponsorships, and other sources. We support community organizations and programs that provide health and wellness promotion and education. These programs also offer services to individuals and families that remove the obstacles (educational, sociological, environmental, and psychosocial) that contribute to poor health. Additionally, we fund research and evaluation activities designed to further community knowledge on the benefits of adapting a healthy and active lifestyle.
