Mission Statement

Fredericksburg Host Lions are a blend of community minded men and women who help the blind and visually impaired, serve the hearing impaired, promote diabetes awareness, sponsor youth programs, and much more.

Description

When it comes to meeting our local challenges, our response is simple: We serve. In the Fredericksburg area, in hospitals and health centers, in schools and eyeglass recycling centers, Fredericksburg Host Lions are doing community volunteer work, helping, leading, planning and supporting. Because we're local, we can serve the unique needs of the communities we live in and because we're global, we can address challenges that go beyond our borders. We want everyone to see a better tomorrow. That's why we provide sight and hearing events and services which include vision screenings, eye banks and eyeglass recycling and why we support many other needs of the people who live in the Fredericksburg area.
