Description

The Bailey Williams Empowerment Center is a non-profit organization that empowers, inspires and ignites possibilities. The BWEC has several programs such as

  • Empower which provides support for students that need assistance in literacy. We focus on strengthening their foundation and fundamental literacy skills.
  • Pierce Academy is a learning center that is committed to providing a loving and nurturing environment to the non-traditional student that encourages them to explore unknown heights, embrace success, and embark upon new experiences.
  • Reaching to Inspire is our way of embracing neighboring schools to inspire through tutoring and reading. Our focus is to enrich the student’s lives by reading aloud to classes and tutoring small groups.

  • Camp Ei 2 (Pronounced E-I-squared) is an enrichment camp that Empowers, Inspires, and Ignites creativity by solving a challenges in our community, nation, or globally. Students will have opportunities to participate in code-a-thons, hack-a-thons, and the arts to demonstrate how they will empower, inspire, and ignite.
