The National School and Community Corps enhances the capacity of schools to serve children and youth, their families and the community. Our mission is to support the educational achievement, personal and social growth of children and youth.

Description

The NSCC is an AmeriCorps program providing teams to inner city schools in Trenton and Plainfield, New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Oakland, CA. The teams create before, during, and after school programs, with a focus on literacy, the arts, and service learning.
