Mission Statement

Future for Farato supports the educational needs of 100 poor children in Farato, the Gambia, West Africa. Families are too poor to pay school and uniform fees and no children would be attending school without our help. We also built and maintain a small library which is the heart of the children's learning and activities. We encourage all children, girls the same as boys to complete high school to improve their chances of escaping poverty.

Description

We send money for tuitions, tutoring, and uniforms. We also maintain a small library which is in the heart of the village.Our other initiatives include health educaiton, enrichment activities for the children and seed money for mini loans for women.

Mini loan program helps mothers develop small businesses to support the household.
