Mission Statement

The Healthy Babies Alliance, Inc./HABIBAHfosters optimal wellness for the African American and emerging ethnic communities in the greater Pasadena area, with particular attention to the quality of life for mothers and their children from inception. This purpose will be fulfilled by (1) training volunteer mentors to become health advocates and (2) encouraging, supporting, and sponsoring programs and services that maximize the father's involvement in their children's lives.

Description

Within small groups,volunteers promote mentoring outreach and health advocacy, share personal stories,give peer training in health education,advocate for emotional,physical, and spiritual well being, and ensure a healthy pregnancy for mother and baby.
