Compassus Hospice, a hospice and palliative care agency, is looking for compassionate volunteers willing to donate their time to provide exceptional end-of-life care to local hospice patients and their families. We are looking for Administrative, Companionship, and Veteran Volunteers as well as Crafting, Musical, and Pet Therapy Volunteers. As hospice patients approach their end-of-life extra support is needed for both the patient and their family. We are looking for special volunteers to visit patients at the bedside and offer vigil and support. You could hold a hand, sign a song, recite poetry or read a scripture while providing support for the family at the patient's bedside.
