Our objective is to develop better social relating, self-advocacy, and social communication skills through real life scenarios. Our goal is for our young adults to experience personal fulfillment in the workplace, community, and in relationships through a better understanding of the nuances of everyday interactions.

Description

Autism Improvised, is about communication - relating - flexible thinking - being open to new ideas - adapting to change - understanding context - having fun and making friends. We use the techniques of improvisational theater to practice games and exercises that address the social challenges and rigid thinking of those who are mildly-to-moderately affected by autism or who share similar traits.
