Mission Statement

To provide basic needs to homeless and poverty level children and their families in the State of Washington. We will strive to create partnerships with members of the community to connect low income and homeless families with resources to improve basic needs related to emergency interim housing, additional food provisions for McKinney Vento children and resources for teachers of low income students.

Description

Washington Kids in Transition is a volunteer organization committed to providing basic needs to homeless children residing in Washington State, including food, emergency closets, motel vouchers, transportation vouchers.
