The Marin Literacy Program has been providing Adult, Family, Inmate and ESL literacy services since 1985. We are liberating voices through literacy and creating a richer, more engaged and enlightened community.

The Marin Literacy Program seeks to engage the talents, skills and commitment of volunteers to serve our communities' literacy needs.

My mother volunteered and still volunteers with Marin Literacy. The friendship she made with the people there still lasts and I want to continue literacy and the love of reading into the homes of as many as I can. I want to make reading a lifestyle not just an activity.
