I don't quite understand the purpose of volunteering for profit-making professional sports teams. Please explain the benefit to the Lupus Foundation, Thank you.

I signed up and the instructions were very vague I ended up around the perimeter of petco park till found someone who knew what they were talking about.

I was interested in volunteering for the NFL draft and was told i needed a day of training first and sent a link to sign up to volunteer at the Sounds park. First they 'overbooked' Saturday and cancelled on me, then i showed up tonight to the park to be sent home after paying for parking because they had never emailed a list. This 'organization' is obviously not very organized. Two days of my life wasted. Greta has only been emailing me since this review and seems to be very kind, but is asking me to remove this review. she says she wasnt the one who dropped the ball. She never responded to my emails while all the confusion was happening however. maybe this experience was just bad for me and isnt the norm. It was a pretty bad experience, though!
