Mission Statement

The mission of the Plaistow Public Library is to provide access to informational, educational and entertainment resources to all members of its community. The library is committed to reflect and respond to the needs of the community.

Description

In many ways, we're a typical small public library, just 30" from central New Hampshire, the seacoast, & the Boston metro area. Our great staff of 12 (6 FTE's) serves a population of 7,600, ranging in age from infants to 90+. We have ambitious visions of what we'd like to do, but would welcome additional technical assistance to help bring those visions to life. Our volunteer page (http://plaistowlibrary.com/volunteer.asp) just scratches the surface. Chances are, if you can think of a BHAG for a library, or a project that's just "really cool", we'll think so too and would love to bring you on board.
