Mission Statement

We are a foster based rescue with fosters/volunteers throughout NY, NJ, CT, PA, New England (MA,VT,NH,ME), MD and VA. with a special place for pit bulls, who are the most misunderstood breed. We dream of a day when we are NO longer needed. Shelters are empty, Puppy Mills NO longer exist & Humans & animals live together peacefully without abuse, torture & abandonment. Hey, we can dream, can't we? But until then we rescue and rehome.

Description

Pibbles and More Animal Rescue, Inc. is a 100% volunteer, foster-based rescue with our home office in Binghamton, NY. Our volunteers not only generously give their time but give of themselves as well. We rescue dogs from NYC's kill shelters as well as from other states where our fosters can help dogs in their local areas across our footprint. Our goal is to rehabilitate and successfully rehome these wonderful dogs. The majority of dogs we rescue are pit bulls but we do rescue all breeds. Our footprint covers NY, NJ, CT, PA, VT, MA, ME, NH, MD, VA, and Georgia.

I've been volunteering with PMAR since 2013. To say this animal rescue is great is an understatement. PMAR has so many ways you can volunteer and make an impact in the lives of homeless animals. From adoption application processing, social media, video editing, transporting animals to foster and adoptive homes, fostering, fundraising, and more! Most volunteer opportunities with PMAR you can do directly from your home. This organization is made up of a great group of people who you will form wonderful relationships with and gain an extended rescue family.
