Mission Statement

The COVID-19 Kindness Task Force, spearheaded by Mayor John Mirisch and City Council, comprises of all community volunteers coming together to help each other, including our seniors and our most vulnerable, during this time of crisis. We are taking action - virtually and safely - to help the most vulnerable meet their everyday needs and to bring community back to those in isolation brought on by social distancing.

I have visited, studied and researched at this public library since I was in high school. I even volunteered here briefly. This library is one of the best in LA County because it is always clean, quiet and provides a large, safe and beautiful space to work. The computers are always available and easy to access. Overall the BHPL is a good place to get productive and comfortable.
