Mission Statement

To applaud the brave military wives and husbands who shoulder responsibilities of family, employment, finances, wounded warrior care, and the honoring of fallen heroes. Our mission is achieved through patriotic volunteers, committed partners, and programs that educate and show appreciation for the sacrifice, patriotism and selflessness of military spouses.

Description

In 2009 Dr. Steven Rumley and his wife Diane made a commitment that every U.S. military spouse would annually receive an Appreciation Care Package, including a New Testament, to let them know how special they are.

This small effort grew into Support Military Spouses; the Nation’s largest Christian non-profit organization dedicated to serving military wives and husbands. Services now include Job Skills Training, Military Spouse Job Fairs, and Money Management Workshops. All of these services are provided at no cost to military families.

Our present day goal is simple; to provide each of the nearly 750,000 military spouses serving on the home front with an Appreciation Care Package annually.
