We serve as a voice for the voiceless; a guide for those seeking to improve the quality of their lives; a helping hand to those in need; and a "family of choice" for those who find themselves alone in the world.
We want to become the movement to change our Nation - one person, one business, one neighborhood at a time.
Our purpose is to promote, develop and support neighborhood-based solutions to our Nation's most challenging issues in health care, education, housing and economic security by building the capacity of people and organizations to realize greatness through service, ownership, entrepreneurial ventures and civic participation - the cornerstones of sustainable communities.
Our mission is to provide help and support to vulnerable people:
- Disabled Veterans (Post traumatic stress and traumatic brain injury)
- Chronic pain and terminally ill patients
- Low-income families
- Minorities
- At-risk youth
- Substance abusers
- People trapped in poverty and hopelessness because of physical, emotional or social challenges
Description
Our approach is grounded in cognitive behavioral therapies and professional coaching methods to help people change the way they look at things so they can make better decisions and choices. Better decisions means better outcomes and greater success.
C3 is grounded in a philosophy of empowerment combining life and small business coaching, skills-building workshops, and mutual support to build the capacity of people in communities create local solutions to our most challenging issues in healthcare, education, housing and economic security.
We help people identify what kind of help they need to solve a problem, who can provide that help in their community and where to find it. We then act as a guide and systems navigator to help you make application for and secure a wide array of public benefits such as Veterans Benefits, Social Security Disability, public funded health and education services, and more.
We provide counseling, life coaching, training, workshops, job search, emergency resources, clinics, and advocacy.
