Description
Child and Family Services - NWC provides education, therapy and health care to 180 children annually, age 4 months to 6 1/2 years, in an integrated childcare setting. Parent education and outreach to other community care centers is a priority. Community Rehabilitation Services - Personal and social activity services are provided to two dozen adults with profound physical and cognitive challenges. Another 115 adults participate in NWC s center-based work training programs. Group and individual supported employment services provide jobs in local industry for more than 100 workers with disabilities. Commercial Operations - NWC's own network of businesses include custodial and groundskeeping services, a cafe, document management service, and a large commercial laundry. These businesses provide unsubsidized, fully benefited jobs for 150 employees and generate net income to endow NWC's charitable services.
