Mission Statement

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting the right to choose meaningful, dignified, affordable death care, and to providing information to help make these choices.

Description

We have a 9-hr a week employee to keep computer records at an office rented at a church; otherwise, all activities done by volunteers. We conduct price surveys of funeral homes and cemeteries, maintain a website with all sorts of end-of-life planning information, make talks in the 7 counties we cover around San Francisco, exhibit at health and senior fairs, produce and hand out free brochures from information gathered, and monitor state legislation and rules concerning death.
