The Phoenix Star Clubhouse is a non-profit, community based program offering ongoing support to individuals with brain injuries. The clubhouse will provide vocational and social support to its members. Members are full partners in the clubhouse operations. Each member will be treated with dignity, respect and given the opportunity for socialization and meaningful work.

Description

The Phoenix Star Clubhouse, a program of Brain Injury Resource and Development Center, Inc. The Clubhouse is the only resource of its kind in Western Virginia to specifically address the needs of individuals with brain injuries. The Phoenix Star Clubhouse is a person-centered place for people with brain injuries to come together in a positive and supportive environment. The main focus of the Phoenix Star Clubhouse is to assist individuals with brain injuries to lead productive lives. This is achieved though involvement in the surrounding community, looking for and researching vocational opportunities, and volunteering at local agencies. The Clubhouse focuses on the strengths, talents, and abilities of the members.
