Mission Statement

H.A.S.I. mission is to assist families in underserved communities in removing barriers to education. H.A.S.I. acts as advocates assisting clients in gaining access to the resources that meets their basic needs; while seeking employment or training. H.A.S.I. does this through fundraising, mentoring, and establishing a support system for parents who are seeking to break the cycle of poverty through skill development.

Description

H.A.S.I recruits student volunteers from proprietary and community college allied health programs, community health workers, as well as advocacy volunteer programs to build our Travel Health Team. H.A.S.I, then links these nonprofit agencies, and churches throughout Cuyahoga and Summit County who are seeking volunteers for health educators and screeners for both long and short-term projects-such as weekly, monthly, or annual health fairs/events.
