Description

It begins with local food and water security, alternative energy, and local economic resilience. We are running hard to put the most innovative, accessible, low tech and reproducible solutions for self-sustaining community into the hands of everyday people from the inner-cities to the nations in a way that is caught and spread on a local level. The projects we have implemented toward those goals include community gardens, aquaponics, and renewable energy. Currently we are opening a Makerspace which will provide tools and training for kids and adults in order to enrich their creative and economic potential. The Makerspace will include resources such as coding and robotics classes, a 3D printer, a commerical kitchen, commerical sewing machine, art classes, and industrial tools. We are also building a large greenhouse that will expand our growing season and improve food security and economic viability.
