Mission Statement

Grace Hospice exists to provide symptom control and support for persons in the last phases of incurable disease so they may live as fully and as comfortably as possible. We recognize dying as part of the normal process of living and focus on maintaining the quality of remaining life. Grace Hospice affirms life and neither hastens nor postpones death. We exist in the hope and belief that, through appropriate care and the support of a caring community sensitive to your needs, terminally ill patients and their families may be free to attain a degree of mental and spiritual preparation for death that is satisfactory to you. We are committed to ensuring your rights and privileges as a hospice patient.

Description

Volunteers are the heart of Grace Hospice, providing a special kind of care and compassion for our patients and their families. Hospice volunteers are carefully screened and specifically trained by the hospice staff to provide support to patients and families we serve. Every day one of our volunteers makes a significant difference in the life of a Grace Hospice patient and has a strong desire to reach out with love and concern to others.
