Safe Haven

Description

SAae haven is a private, 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 1995. Safe Haven is licensed by the Minnesota Departmen of Human Services to provide residential and counseling services. We are concerned with meeting the needs of emotionally and behaviorally disturbed youth and maintaining community involvement during the treatment process. Flexibility and individualized programmin g are used to create a strength-based treatment plan for each individual. Our homes are designed to provide a structured but nurturing environment for youth in need of out of home placement or young adults whom otherwise would be homeless. We work hard to establish trust with program participants and build their self-esteem early in the program so that they can benefit from our other services. All homes work to strengthen community connections of participants and are located in residential neighborhoods.
