Mission Statement

Our mission is to serve as a lifeline for kids, one kid at a time. To accomplish this goal, we are seeking to expand our ministry into new schools and communities, and to reach further into the pre-teen culture. Over the last 50+ years, Young Life of Genesee County has expanded into a few high schools, but that is not enough. We are working to develop a strong network of leaders and committee members who will serve specific communities within the county. With a strong support team of adults focused on these areas we can continue the Young Life legacy in our community. Over the next five years our goal is to expand into two additional high schools. We have a strategy to get there; we know that all kids are "too important to ignore." ​Every Kid. Everywhere. For ETERNITY!

Description

Young Life is a world-class organization for adolescents. Our staff and volunteers enter the world of kids, focusing on what matters to them - fun, adventure, friendship and a sense of significance. In doing so, we earn the privilege of talking to them about something that we think matters most of all - the truth about God and His love for them.
