Mission Statement

Mission Statement:

Helping Honduras Kids' is a Christian organization whose mission is to improve the level of dignity, education, opportunity and health for orphaned, abandoned, abused, and/or neglected and special needs children, single mothers and families on the north coast of Honduras.

This will be accomplished through programs designed to provide opportunity, education, hope and love as well as providing for the spiritual, physical, emotional, educational, medical, and recreational needs of underprivileged children, both in new and existing Children's Homes (orphanages), marginalized rural communities, and in schools. We also strive to share the love of Jesus Christ everywhere we go through acts of kindness and love.

Core Values 1. HHK believes that opportunity, education, hope and love are what children need to break the cycle of poverty and abuse. 2. HHK will foster an environment of love through expressing daily confidence building statements to each child, so they can succeed 3. HHK will help provide a safe "home-like" environment for orphaned children to live in, so they can feel secure as they grow and develop. 4. HHK will provide the necessary educational environment to enhance learning to help give disadvantaged children the tools to become contributing members of society. 5. HHK will provide the necessary medical care through donations for HHK children so they can become healthy and strong. 6. HHK will participate in worthwhile community programs that will benefit and improve the lives of children and people in the community. 7. HHK values partnerships. 8. HHK believes that a loved, educated and happy child in Honduras has a real chance to succeed!
