Eco Surf Volunteers

Description

For our Summer 2009 Volunteer Project, we are excited to be taking two groups of 20 college-aged volunteers to the small coastal village of Canoa, Ecuador. During the months of June and August, Eco Surf Volunteers will build new playground equipment from recycled materials for the village's elementary school, as well as implement an English Language Educational Program where our volunteers will teach local children to speak English through arts and crafts. In return for their hard work, a group of Canoan surfers have offered to take our volunteers surfing at the best local surf spots. Volunteers with little to no surf experience are offered two hours daily surf instruction.
