To provide individualized healthcare to the poor, frail, and elderly by meeting the needs and desires of the body, mind, and spirit from the moment care is needed through the end of life.
Hospice care is a holistic approach to palliative or end-of-life care, focused on creating a comfortable, compassionate experience for our patients. Our services are not an aggressive treatment program, but our patients receive personalized pain management and emotional support. Because hospice is a kind of palliative care , our objective is to treat the symptoms and not the illness. When given a six-month life expectancy, many patients prefer end-of-life care that avoids heroic measures and focuses on the patient's quality of life.
The services of St. Margaret’s Hospice go far beyond just simple management. Our highly skilled, specialized, and courteous healthcare team will work diligently to provide medical, emotional, and spiritual support for our patients and their families. We provide bereavement care and grief support programs for all loved ones during this difficult time. All of our treatment is coordinated with the patient's physician, and we can also offer the medication, equipment, and other supplies necessary for care.
