Mission Statement

The Global Arts Network is a DC-based non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization. Our objective is to promote intercultural understanding and raise public awareness of how all countries, large and small, are interdependent. We organize art exchanges and exhibitions to promote cross-cultural art education. We also work in partnership with museums, embassies, schools and universities as well as other resource centers in the Washington DC area to bring cross-cultural expositions, conferences and lecture series to the United States and abroad. We believe that presenting international artists to domestic audiences will give the American public more tangible ways to understand foreign customs and traditions. Through art we hope to strengthen bilateral relations between the United States and other countries and build bridges of trust and peace. We collaborate with other like-minded organizations and individuals to develop sponsors, patrons, donors and volunteers who share our vision and causes.
