Mission Statement

The mission of El Paso Affordable Housing CUSO is to empower members of the financially underserved community with the ability to develop family wealth and economic and financial stability. El Paso Affordable Housing CUSO is doing this by offering free financial education, home ownership workshops, credit management, and promoting savings, while developing loan products and financial services that will empower members not only to qualify for a mortgage loan but also to build wealth and credit worthiness.

Description

El Paso Affordable Housing is the fiscal agent for the Coalition for Family Economic Progress (CFEP). CFEP is a coalition of non-profit and government agencies who work together to provide free tax preparation services for low-middle income families in the El Paso area. CFEP provides services to many families giving them access to the Earned Income Tax Credit and other credits that they are eligible for. Through their partnering agencies CFEP also promotes assest development and financial education.
