Mission Statement

Self sustainability is our philosophy at the Wild Burro Rescue and Preservation Program. We are working hard on creating a modern, ecological homestead, and using solar energy to help the environment. Our approach follows the life mantra of Buckminster Fuller: You see what needs to be done and you just do it. Do more with less.

Description

The Wild Burro Rescue and Preservation Project is a non profit 501(c)(3) animal protection organization. This sanctuary is necessary because the government land-management policy calls for the elimination of wild burros. Our sanctuary is one of the only safe places for them.

I volunteered at the Worldfest in Encino, CA in May, and I will do so again at the Malibu Arts Festival in July. A rather fruitful experience.

An amazing organization that rescues and rehabilitates wild burros, and the only safe place for them to go is the Wild Burro Rescue.
