Mission Statement

Our vision is to be partner in parenting to children at risk through our special programs for single parent families. It is the goal of CFAR to reduce the risk to children of being separated from the family; to reduce the risk of school failure, of drug and alcohol use, of violence and other negative pressures.

Our warm and welcoming home-like setting in Northeast Philadelphia provides a safe place where trouble families can feel safe. As a partner in parenting, we are working to help each member of the family make permanent, positive changes towards becoming productive members of their own family and of our community as a whole.

Description

CFAR is a not for profit counseling center serving the needs of individuals, couples,families, and children.

At the Center for Families And Relationships, Inc we work with the entire family, providing up to two years of care on a sliding scale basis for those families who qualify. We provide out reach programs including parenting workshops, anger management classes and Art Therapy
