Fathers Who Care (FWC), mission is provide supportive service to men that are fathers, but may not be apart of a tradiitional family setting.
To provide a warm and nurturing environment for men, between the ages of 17 yrs and older, to explore and openly expree themselves within a compassionate, caring and nonjudgmental settings.
To provide men who are fathers with an opportunity to work together in identifying, analyzing, and resolving the multitude of problems confronting men.
Description of Organization:
Fathers Who Care (FWC), a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit community-based social service agency, has been providing empowerment and enrichment programs and services to at-risk youth, indigent fathers and their significant others since 1999.
Located on Chicago's West Side, FWC promotes and provides a comprehensive support system for men who are non-traditional fathers (those absent from traditional family settings) as well as their significant others.
FWC also operates a At-Risk Youth Responsibility Program in several Chicago Public Schools and throughout the Westside of Chicago.
