Mission Statement

To not only raise awareness about type 1 diabetes, but to ensure that every child gets the proper and essential care they need to live long, healthy lives as well as to keep those families affected by this disease, mentally and physically strong to deal with the daily life of living with diabetes

Description

A non-pofit offering peer support, education, awareness and fundraising events to support our programs. We send children to camp, provide a nurse educator to newly diagnosed children's schools, run support group meetings, provide care packages to the local hosiptals for newly diagnosed children, donate thousands of items to local families in need and try to raise awareness.

Kim was highly organized and enthusiastic about her organization, Michael’s Miracles. Her dedication and knowledge toward the organization of these events for her son is not only impressive, but inspiring. She and her family beat the odds when her son survived, yet she still fights to ensure that other families with children who struggle with Diabetes will have the support and awareness needed to overcome the disease. I’m so happy that I could be a part of this event and look forward to helping her organize the next big tricky tray in February.
