Mission Statement

The Cancer Care Foundation was born out of a need recognized both by professionals with many years’ experience in caring for oncology patients and cancer survivors themselves, along with pastoral and community support. From this, in 1993, was created a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide comprehensive patient/family support services, community outreach and education.

Description

The Cancer Care Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization whose purpose is to provide comprehensive patient/family support services, community outreach and education.

Majore program activities include:

  • Financial assistance for basic needs such as rent, utilities and transportation to and from cancer treatments.
  • Provide cancer support group meetings in conjunction with the Cancer Care Centers of Brevard.
  • Provide coordinated information to connect patients with other non-profits, government and medical agencies.
